Three class sessions are offered quarterly for adults for the exploration of the clay medium. The clay studio is well-equipped for both hand-building and wheel-throwing, and both clay and tools are available for purchase. First-time students are always welcome and are provided with a series of hand-building projects to develop confidence in the medium over time. This quarter students will investigate both fired and non-fired surfaces on various vase and bottle forms. Sessions are taught by Aria Finch and Anna Edwards.  All sessions include additional studio time.

Aria Finch holds a BA from the University of Texas at El Paso and has attended graduate school at North Texas State University and Texas Women's University. She a 2013 recipient of the New Mexico Governor’s   Award for Excellence in the Arts. in 2009, her work was chosen for the 5th World Ceramics Biennale in South Korea. She has manages the Roswell Museum ceramics program since 1979.

Anna Edwards has been involved with ceramics for sixteen years. Studying with her mentor, Aria Finch, she has been teaching children and adults at the Roswell Museum and has worked with the Roswell Independent School District. Anna has studied at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, Potter's Council, Santa Fe Clay and the Roswell Museum.
