This after school course will introduce students to working with clay hand-building and the basics of sculpting with clay. Each class is one hour long every Tuesday afternoon. Students will be encouraged to create their own works of art and will end the class series with their own handmade pieces. Supplies are included.

Meet your instructor:

Aria Finch holds a BA from the University of Texas at El Paso and has attended graduate school at North Texas State University and Texas Women's University. She a 2013 recipient of the New Mexico Governor’s   Award for Excellence in the Arts. in 2009, her work was chosen for the 5th World Ceramics Biennale in South Korea. She has manages the Roswell Museum ceramics program since 1979
