Learn art vocabulary, the basics of perspective, composition, color mixing and color theory and how to use a cell phone to plan a work and understan

Drawing
Still life, figures, or animals 
Learn to map out your drawing, understand values, edges and composition. Learn site-size techniques and how to draw from life or from photographs using light and dark on toned paper to easily get a full range of values. 
 
Acrylic painting
Realistic still life
Understanding color mixing, layering, blending, and glazing techniques. Students will work from life to learn how to render depth and realism. Learn to see form, value and edges. 
 
Tasia Ramage is a native New Mexico artist who comes from a long line of gifted people on both sides of her family. Tasia has lived in Roswell for almost 30 years and has been involved in the clay program, under Aria Finch, and the Pecos Valley Potters Guild during all of that time. Tasia is a Painter, sculptor and potter and is thrilled to join the teaching staff at the Roswell Museum.
