Want to design, build and fly your very own model rocket? You can in this introduction to the exciting world of rocketry with Jeremy Howe, Planetarium Coordinator. See and learn how mathematics explains the world of rockets and aero-science through simple lessons in physics and rocket flight. Learn the laws of rocket stability and aerodynamics. Best of all, you will actually build and launch your own vehicle at the end of the course to show your family and friends what you learned. Model rocketry, a super fun, crowd-pleasing STEM activity, is safe and a widespread hobby that has been credited as a significant source of inspiration for children who eventually become scientists and engineers.
